Description
The HP Neverstop Laser 1000a (4RY22A) is a high-volume monochrome laser printer designed for home offices, small businesses and workgroups that need dependable black-and-white printing at a low running cost. Unlike conventional cartridge-based laser printers, the Neverstop 1000a uses HP’s toner reload system, allowing users to replenish toner rather than frequently replacing full cartridges.
It prints at speeds of up to 20 pages per minute on A4 paper, with the first page ready in as little as 7.6 seconds. Print resolution reaches up to 600 × 600 dpi, producing sharp text and clear business documents suitable for invoices, reports, school materials, forms and everyday office paperwork.
One of its strongest selling points is its high-capacity toner system. The printer is supplied with toner capable of producing approximately 5,000 pages, while the HP 103A Neverstop Toner Reload Kit provides approximately 2,500 additional pages per refill. HP’s reload design is intended to reduce downtime and make toner replenishment quick and straightforward.
The printer includes a 150-sheet input tray and a 100-sheet output bin, giving it enough paper capacity for regular business and home-office printing. It supports common paper sizes including A4, A5, A6, Letter, B5 and envelopes.
The Neverstop 1000a is a print-only model and connects through Hi-Speed USB 2.0. This specific 1000a version does not include built-in Wi-Fi, so it is best suited to users who want a straightforward printer connected directly to a computer. HP separately offered wireless models in the Neverstop 1000 series, because apparently adding one letter to a model name is how civilisation communicates Wi-Fi now.
